Translating Research in Elder Care (TREC) is a research program in the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Alberta. TREC is a pan-Canadian and international program of applied research in continuing care (nursing homes). It functions in an integrated knowledge translation or partnered model. We have long standing relationships with stakeholders, end users, policy makers, and our citizen advisory group. We are seeking a highly organized and resourceful Senior Research Assistant to support TREC's ongoing research in trauma-informed care.
Working under the guidance of an experienced Project Coordinator, the successful candidate will contribute to multiple complex research initiatives currently underway.
Key responsibilities include coordinating research team activities, supporting stakeholder
engagement, facilitating data collection, and assisting with research administration. The role will involve communication with stakeholders, care home staff, and research participants, as well as direct involvement in data collection activities. Some travel may be required.
