In this position, you'll provide high-level support to the Director and AVP of Indigenous affairs. Your responsibilities encompass collaborating with project teams, managing timelines, budgets, and operational aspects, ensuring cooperation with Indigenous communities, particularly the Musqueam Indian Band. A deep understanding of the OISI objectives and university protocols is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage various projects and their life cycles
• Collaborate with Indigenous initiative leads
• Ensure successful project delivery and reporting
• Write confidential communications and formal reports
• Liaise with Indigenous stakeholders across campuses
Requirements:
• Extensive knowledge of Indigenous engagement practices
• Solid project management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly
• Experience in higher education or similar environment
