Understanding the purchasing service function,



the individual will demonstrate strong communication and negotiation skills as well as the ability to build relationships both with suppliers and internal customers.ResponsibilitiesVendor ManagementSourcing and Procurement of materials or services required to support our Customers both internally and externally. (i.E. Electronic components, Custom material, project materials.)Execution of Purchase Orders, follow-up and quotationsWorking with Suppliers to ensure on time delivery performance and forecast planning as neededFlexibility and problem resolution when required to meet key performance metrics. (Quality, On-Time Delivery and Price Objectives)Working with Suppliers to ensure stocking strategies are in line with expectationsMulti-Sourcing initiatives as required - 2nd or even 3rd sourcing where necessaryServe as a key contributor to negotiation of supplier contracts e.G.
