CGIC is looking for a hybrid Claims Representative II to enhance our Accident Benefit Claims team. This role focuses on client relations and analytical resolution of complex claims.
As a key member of the Accident Benefit Claims department, this position allows you to utilize your claims handling experience effectively. You'll engage daily with clients, negotiate claims, and collaborate with medical professionals. Your contribution is essential to uphold CGIC's reputation for exceptional client service within the insurance industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate complex automobile Accident Benefit claims
• Negotiate and decide claims autonomously
• Collaborate with various stakeholders on case management
• Handle files in defense litigation and ADR
• Provide training and technical support to peers
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience in P&C; liability claims
• Must have a post-secondary degree or diploma
• Willingness to pursue CIP or related designations
• Solid understanding of accident benefits is a plus
• Acquire provincial adjuster license(s)
