What You Will Do: Assist clients with their daily insurance needs in person, over phone or through e-mail
Provide quotes and sell new policies to clients
Up-selling of products and services to current and existing clients
Generate client referrals through community involvement and events
Follow up on client accounts to resolve outstanding matters
Support clients throughout the claims process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our Broker Management System
Make timely renewal calls for existing client business
Remain up to date on product knowledge and build relationships with insurance providers
Commit to self-development through internal training and industry education
Knowledge of insurance company products, programs and payment plans
What you Bring to the Team: Completion of the General Insurance License, Level 1 is required prior to the first day of employment
Completion of High School Diploma or Equivalency
Drive and motivation for personal growth
Ability to adapt to various computer programs
Strong time management and organizational skills
Interpersonal skills
Previous general insurance experience is an asset, but we welcome interested new to industry candidates
