Salary: $41.52 - $62.28 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week
Shifts: 8 hour shifts, 2 shifts per week, Evenings & Weekends only
Status: Temporary Part Time (1 year)

Position Summary

As an integral member of the Medical Imaging team you will perform various imaging procedures at University Health Network.
The department features state-of-the-art digital technology and a team of innovative staff dedicated to patient care and superb image quality, backed by a commitment to continuing education and quality assurance program initiatives.
Supporting research activities within the organization, this position offers opportunities participate in leading edge therapeutic and diagnostic discoveries.

Duties
Performs CT research procedures and digital quality assurance to support clinical trials
Communicates with team members and management personnel
Participates in professional development, teaching and educational activities, and mentoring
Reviews research protocols involving CT activities
Perform other related patient care responsibilities to facilitate the provision of optimal patient care
Understand and follow Hospital and departmental Research policies and procedures to improve technical quality
Qualifications
Registration with the CMRITO
Previous General Imaging experience
Completion of a BCLS program, Level II: Basic Rescuer certification
One (1) year recent experience in related area of responsibility
Current experience (within the last 5 years) in computed tomography
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity towards patients in a challenging situation
Demonstrated strong technical skills and image quality
Knowledge of basic anatomy and pathology
Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities
Ability to work accurately under stressful conditions
Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast paced environment
Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a supportive team environment
Excellent problem solving and recognition skills
Commitment to continuing education
Excellent teaching skills
Demonstrated good work performance and attendance history
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Previous Level 3 CT experience or willing to be trained up to a Level 3 CT,preferred
Membership with the CAMRT,preferred
Completion of certified injection course,preferred
Currently enrolled in the CTIC offered by the CAMRT,preferred
