AllRock Consulting Ltd. invites applications for a Junior Biologist position to help with various ecological projects. Candidates should have a degree in Biology, Ecology, or a similar field, along with a minimum of two field seasons’ experience. Your contributions will span fish habitat assessments, assisting in environmental evaluations, and supporting project management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct field investigations on aquatic habitats
• Assist in ecological inventory and species at risk evaluations
• Support the preparation of environmental documentation
• Participate in monitoring and inspections during construction
• Collaborate with project teams and regulatory agencies
Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Biology or Ecology
• Minimum of two relevant field seasons’ experience
• Knowledge of fish and wildlife ecosystems
• Familiarity with GIS preferred
• Solid communication and organizational skills
