This part-time psychiatrist role is pivotal for supporting Assertive Community Treatment teams. Working 10-14 hours weekly, you will provide comprehensive assessments and oversee treatment plans, ensuring client-centered care. Candidates must be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver medical assessments for mental health clients
• Supervise psychotropic medication prescriptions
• Lead treatment planning discussions effectively
• Attend and contribute in clinical meetings weekly
• Maintain accurate and timely client records
Requirements:
• Positive standing with Ontario’s College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Doctoral degree in psychiatry required
• Proven experience with a multidisciplinary approach
• Resourceful and self-motivated individual
• Warm and approachable client interactions
