Enhance child development at the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre as a Behaviour Consultant. This permanent, part time position involves assessing and providing targeted behavioural strategies in various community settings.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating individualized intervention plans, and actively engaging families in the process. Your role is crucial in implementing effective behaviour management and supporting the integration of services across the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Early Intervention team for client identification
• Conduct behavioural assessments with a strengths-based approach
• Develop and monitor client-specific intervention strategies
• Provide hands-on training to families and caregivers
• Assist in improving early intervention practices and materials
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in education, Psychology, or related field
• At least three years’ experience with children’s behavioural issues
• Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
