Empower youth at YWCA Prince Albert Inc. as a part time Youth Support Worker. This role involves guiding clients, maintaining a secure environment, and providing essential life skills.

This permanent part-time position guarantees 20 hours a week. You will work closely with residents of the Central Avenue Shelter, offering support and advocacy to promote their independence. Your background in working with mental health and substance use challenges will be vital, as will your ability to manage crises and maintain professional boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Guide residents towards independence and adulthood
• Maintain building security with regular checks
• Ensure cleanliness and perform heavy cleaning duties
• Attend required staff meetings and training
• Provide feedback on client issues and incidents

Requirements:
• Valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Drivers License
• Experience with mental health and cognitive disabilities
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Ability to lift heavy items
• Pass Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
