NETES seeks a TIG Welding Instructor who brings both experience and passion for teaching skilled trades to Indigenous students. The role encompasses practical welding instruction, safety compliance, and industry engagement to prepare students for workplace readiness. Your involvement in this culturally responsive educational framework is essential for promoting student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive TIG welding and related instruction
• Develop lesson plans and materials aligned with industry standards
• Provide feedback and support to enhance student performance
• Oversee student safety and maintain a productive workspace
• Establish connections with local industry stakeholders
Requirements:
• Minimum five years of industry experience in TIG welding
• Journeyman Certification in Welding required
• Experience in adult education preferred
• Knowledge of Indigenous community needs a plus
• Criminal Record Check is necessary
