We are seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to contribute to a significant road project. This full time contract job extends until Christmas 2026 and is site-based, requiring candidates to be within commuting distance. Key skills include maintaining subcontractor forecasts, supporting Compensation Events, and strong knowledge of NEC4 ECC.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain detailed subcontractor account forecasts
• Produce robust cost forecasts across all cost types
• Support administration of subcontractor Compensation Events




• Assess subcontractor entitlements using Defined Cost
• Interpret construction-phase programmes for cost forecasting

Requirements:
• Extensive Senior Quantity Surveying experience
• Strong knowledge of NEC4 ECC, especially Main Options B and C
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts
• Detailed understanding of Defined Cost
• Strong analytical and communication skills
