Job Description
ThebproBusiness Development Manager will be thoroughly familiar with theU.S.automotive aftermarket. Their primary focus will be on sellingbproproducts to OEM Dealerships,independent installers,and fleets. The position requiresfull-timetravel. Thebpro Business Development Managerresponsibilities include assisting Dealers ininventory management&analysisofbpro; products along with outside sales supportforassigned Dealerships.
Day to Day Responsibilities
BDMswill be scheduled in advance to travel withtoDealersto sell and support bpro products
Acting on behalf of the Dealers,BDMs will coordinate and communicate marketing and sales programs and related features including technician training, technical support, local product promotions and Dealer-funded related details
Will be expected to exercise initiative to follow-up on sales calls and "close" sales as authorized by Dealers
Will be required to understand high level OEMDealer organization and aftermarket strategy
Will be required to submit daily sales call reports including number of planned/actual customer visits; sales results by product and description of call/next steps using TrackITand Excel
Will provide recommendations on product line expansion, pricing opportunities, market trends from the advanced analytics and data reporting system
Will work with Mopar Headquarters and Field personnel to coordinate efforts and identify open markets in need of coverage
Sales Contacts - Minimum contacts per representative:
One "face to face" contact with theassigneddealer every 30-45 days
One phone contact with everyservicingdealer weekly
Participate in standard meetings with OEMBusiness Center personnel
Return all emails and phone calls within 24 hours
All contacts will be logged inTrackIt
The MSXI PMO will manage the implementation schedule, dealer contact reports, conductingpost-visit surveys and compiling/reporting survey results
BDMswill beequippedwith acompanylaptop
The client willprovide access tointernalnetworkand additional program support components
Minimum of seven years skilled experience in the automotive aftermarket and/or wholesale parts environment with specific Stellantisdealer experience preferredExperience in wholesale automotive parts sales, management and customer requirementsPrioraftermarket territory sales management,training, coaching and consulting preferredMust possess excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skillsMust be highly interpersonal with team-building and participative management skillsProficient with PC, Dealer/IRF Management Systems and Microsoft Office applicationsRequires self-starter with ability to work under minimal supervisionEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree in related field or minimum 7 years equivalent experienceFamiliarity with the following automotive operations:Manufacturer, fleet, installer, mechanical parts wholesale, dealership parts management & aftermarket service departmentsBasic understanding of automobile repair and technologyExperience with management of and selling wholesale automotive partsLanguage SkillsCandidatemustprofessionallevel communications abilities in English and any other languages as required by the project clientComputer SkillsHigh level of proficiency with PC and Microsoft applications including; Outlook,Excel,

The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
