About the Role Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Janitorial Services Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations in Kimberley . While the role is based in Kimberley, there's an opportunity for hybrid supervision with potential remote oversight of tasks. This position is crucial for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. You will lead a team of cleaning staff, manage daily tasks, ensure proper use of supplies, and conduct quality checks. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to operational excellence in sanitation services. This role blends in office leadership with potential for remote coordination.
Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct the daily activities of the janitorial team, ensuring all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
Develop and manage daily work schedules and task assignments for the cleaning crew.
Conduct regular on-site inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and identify areas needing attention.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.




Train and mentor new cleaning staff on procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
Act as the primary point of contact for sanitation-related issues, coordinating solutions promptly.
Requirements Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within the janitorial or cleaning industry.
Good knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards , and the safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate a team.
Ability to develop and manage work schedules and perform basic inventory management.
Willingness to be on-site for supervision and potential to adapt to remote oversight of certain duties.
