As a Relief Support Worker, you’ll report to the Team Lead and ensure the safety and well-being of residents. This role emphasizes trauma-informed practices and involves supervision of daily activities in both the house and the community. Applicants should possess relevant education or experience and demonstrate a focus on women-centered practices in the criminal justice system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the safety and security of residents
• Support residents through conversation and engagement
• Role model positive behaviors and reintegration activities
• Supervise resident activities in the house and community
• Perform basic household chores as needed
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or experience
• Understanding of women-centered practices
• Strong communication and crisis intervention skills
• Availability for all shifts, including overnights
• Current criminal record check required
