Job description - please note this job is on-site based in Espanola, ONPosition: CPAP ClinicianStatus: Part time Position / 20-30 Hrs per week / Monday - FridayStart Date: ImmediatelyExperience: Customer Service PreferredOrganization Description: MagGas Medical Inc. (MagGas) has been an established medical gas supplier since 1995, as well as a registered vendor with the Assistive Devices Program and Home Oxygen Program, providing home oxygen therapy and respiratory supplies (such as CPAP machines), medical gases (such as medical oxygen and nitrous oxide), cylinders, and cylinder maintenance to numerous medical services throughout Southern Ontario.MagGas is looking for an energetic person to join our office as a CPAP Clinician. The CPAP Clinician will be responsible for patient care, administrative of the office and support to staff, the right person will be able to handle customer service inquiries and administrative tasks, will be well organized and flexibility, detail oriented and will enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a small office of diverse programs. The CPAP Clinician will also be responsible for CPAP setups on regular basis, on-the-job training will be provided. The CPAP Clinician is often the first point of contact for clients, patients and suppliers and is a welcoming and professional face for the organization. All employment is conditional upon completing and obtaining a satisfactory background check, including educational, employment, references and other relevant verifications depending on the position. This position is open to applicants legally authorized to work in Canada.ResponsibilitiesClinical duties for patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea and provide education on CPAP therapy treatmentProvide patient instruction on the use and care of APAP, CPAP,
BiPAP machines and accessoriesCommunicate with sleep labs and sleep physicians in the process of fitting the correct equipment for the patient and to ensure complianceIdentify treatment issues and implement appropriate solutionsCreate reports, download data, and adjust PAP pressure during regular check-up appointmentsPrepare all documentation with a high level of accuracyBuild a positive and trustworthy relationship with patientsResponsible for various reports and administrative duties within the clinicExceptional client service skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-throughStrong teamwork skillsAbility to work as part of a team under minimal supervisionTraining will be provided to the right candidateSetting appointments for CPAP setupsFollow-up calls with the CPAP patientsFilling the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) applicationsLiaising with ODSP, OW, and insurance companies on behalf of our patientsAbility to work independently and protect patient confidentialityAdministrative workReceiving orders and preparing ordersCommunicate with the Toronto office / staff on regular basisGeneral bookkeeping (Quick Books)Inventory maintenanceDealing with correspondence, complaints, queriesQualificationsCustomer service experience requiredSome experience with QuickBooksPost-secondary education preferredProblem solving skillsTyping skillsProficient in the English language (reading, writing, speaking)Organizational skillsPrevious experience in this field is not necessary but an assetStrong communication and interpersonal skills requiredAble to work independently and as well as within a teamComputer literacy in Windows and Microsoft OfficeDemonstrates behaviors consistent with MagGas Medical Inc. valuesMust be available to work eveningsDriver’s license and vehicle preferredBenefitsFlexible scheduleOn-site parkingCompany eventsDiscounted or free foodHousing allowanceRelocation assistanceJob Types: Part-timePay: $23.00-$25.00 per hourExpected hours: 20 - 30 per weekWork Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
