Position Overview
The Industry & Volunteer Engagement Specialist plays a key role in strengthening engagement with two important stakeholder communities within CREA: the Association Executive Network (AEN) and CREA’s Volunteer Program.
Reporting to the Director, Industry & Volunteer Engagement, this position manages the delivery and ongoing improvement of initiatives, programs, meetings, and engagement activities that enhance the experience of association executives and volunteers across the REALTOR® ecosystem in Canada. The Specialist builds solid stakeholder relationships, identifies emerging needs and opportunities, and uses feedback and engagement insights to inform program improvements.
The successful candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-focused, with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and follow through on commitments. They are comfortable supporting senior stakeholders and volunteers, working collaboratively across departments and translating strategic direction into effective day-to-day execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement and Support
Manage the day-to-day delivery and ongoing improvement of CREA’s Association Executive Network (AEN) and Volunteer Program.
Serve as a key relationship contact for association executives, volunteers, and internal staff, providing guidance and responsive support.
Lead the planning and delivery of engagement, onboarding, leadership development, and recognition initiatives.
Identify and recommend opportunities to strengthen stakeholder engagement and relationships within both communities.
Gather stakeholder feedback and insights to help inform program planning and improvements.
Ensure stakeholders receive a positive, responsive, and professional service experience.
Meeting & Committee Administration
Manage meetings, committees, and related activities supporting volunteer and association executive initiatives.
Develop agendas, meeting materials, presentations, minutes, and follow-up documentation in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
Manage meeting logistics, scheduling, attendance tracking, and action item follow-up.
Support volunteer appointment, committee administration, and governance-related processes.
Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with organizational requirements.
Database & Platform Administration
Maintain and update stakeholder databases, volunteer records, and engagement platforms.
Administer online communities, collaboration tools, and applicable web content to ensure information remains current, accurate, and relevant.
Analyze stakeholder and engagement data to identify trends, participation levels, and opportunities for improvement.
Support the integrity and accuracy of data used for communications, reporting, and decision-making.
Communications & Project Development
Develop and maintain resources, communications, and engagement materials for association executives and volunteers.
Lead the delivery of stakeholder engagement initiatives and activities.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop consistent, relevant, and effective stakeholder communications.
Identify and recommend improvements to resources, processes, tools, and stakeholder experiences.
Work collaboratively with teams across CREA to ensure successful planning and execution of initiatives.
Take ownership of assigned projects and tasks while working under the guidance of the Director, Industry & Volunteer Engagement.
Develop and monitor key performance measures, analyze results, and recommend improvements to projects and initiatives.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
College diploma or university degree, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Minimum three years of experience in stakeholder engagement, member services, volunteer management, program delivery, or a related role.
Experience managing programs, projects, or engagement initiatives from planning through delivery and evaluation.
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining positive relationships with volunteers, members, senior stakeholders, and internal partners.
Technical Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams.
Experience using CRM, database, community, or engagement platforms such as Salesforce, Higher Logic Thrive, SharePoint, or similar systems.
Ability to use stakeholder feedback, engagement data, and performance measures to support reporting and recommend program improvements.
Soft Skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.
A service-oriented and relationship-focused approach, with a commitment to providing a positive experience for stakeholders and colleagues.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take initiative while collaborating across teams to achieve shared goals.
Assets
Proficiency in French.
This is a Hybrid position, with up to two (2) days per week in the office.
