As a Nurse Practitioner , you will play a central role in delivering holistic, culturally safe primary care to individuals and families. Reporting to the Director of Health & Social Services, you will work within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team that supports the full spectrum of health, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.

This role is suited for someone who looks beyond symptoms to understand the full story of each patient. You build relationships with empathy, respect, and integrity, creating a space where patients feel heard and supported. You are committed to culturally safe care and approach your work with curiosity, openness, and a mindset of continuous learning.

In a agile, community-based environment, you will work closely with physicians and a diverse care team, including community health, mental health and addictions, home care, and nutrition services, contributing to coordinated,



person- and family-centred care. Whether supporting chronic disease management, promoting wellness, or guiding preventative care, your work is grounded in trust and meaningful connection. Through this, you will help strengthen access to care, improve health outcomes, and contribute to the overall well-being of the Millbrook community.
The Package Pay Scale: $59.47 - $67.17/hour. Compensation is based on education, skills and experience in accordance with the Nova Scotia Nurses Union pay scale.

Contract: 13-month contract, September 2026 - October 2027
Location: On-site at Millbrook Health Centre, 812 Willow St, Truro, NS

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time Monday to Friday, compressed work week. Some evenings and weekend availability will be required from time to time.

Travel: Home visits within the community and surrounding area.
