Be a vital part of Humber River Health as a Temporary Full time Registered Nurse in our Paediatric Inpatient Unit. Focus on assessment and holistic care for children while working in a cutting-edge digital hospital.

This role involves delivering specialized pediatric care to patients aged 0-18. You will be responsible for patient assessments, family education, and supporting discharge planning while rotating through Surgical Day Care. Your expertise in pediatric nursing will play a crucial role in our initiative to provide excellent healthcare through innovation and care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed assessments of pediatric patients
• Provide family education to ensure understanding of care
• Support discharge planning and scheduling for pediatric patients




• Gain experience in Surgical Day Care with rotation
• Perform specimen collections and phlebotomy procedures

Requirements:
• Current RN licensing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Valid NRP certificate required upon hire
• PALS certification needed within six months of hire
• Proven experience in pediatric nursing environments
• Proficiency in IV therapy and child venipuncture required
