In this important role, you will leverage your licensed Tractor Technician background, ideally with five years of Caterpillar experience, to educate recent and existing technicians. You will be responsible for onboarding, delivering training on safe practices, and ensuring high standards of workmanship throughout the shop. Your expertise will shape apprentices' paths while ensuring compliance with established policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the orientation of new Technicians
• Teach safe tooling and machinery practices




• Monitor and validate training effectiveness with feedback
• Maintain and manage training records diligently
• Conduct competency evaluations for apprentices

Requirements:
• Licensed Tractor Technician with minimum 5 years of experience
• Previous lead-hand or training experience beneficial
• Familiarity with Toromont’s safety procedures
• Excellent attention to quality and efficiency
• Fluency in Microsoft Office/SIS/ET software
