Be a part of Five Counties Children's Centre as a full time Resource Consultant based in Cobourg. Support children with diverse needs in early learning through coaching and training for educators.

This permanent position emphasizes fostering inclusive childcare environments. As a Resource Consultant, you will develop Individual Support Plans, assist educators, and ensure that all children have access to quality early learning. Your work will be essential in guiding and mentoring early educators across Northumberland County to enhance the educational experiences of children in need.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop Individual Support Plans in collaboration with educators
• Assess and monitor children’s inclusion in early learning programs
• Provide community resources to educators and parents




• Facilitate communication between educators and caregivers
• Attend therapy sessions to align strategies and support

Requirements:
• Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Minimum five years experience in childcare settings
• Knowledge of inclusion support assessments
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
