At NexGen Cloud, we empower our engineers to drive the design, deployment, and operation of our OpenStack and Kubernetes infrastructures. This senior role emphasizes hands-on involvement with GPU workloads, ensuring performance and reliability. You will also implement infrastructure-as-code practices to enhance automation and work closely with multiple teams to align platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the design and operation of OpenStack and Kubernetes environments
• Improve infrastructure via infrastructure-as-code and GitOps
• Optimize GPU workload scheduling using Kubernetes
• Lead incident responses for continuous reliability improvements
• Maintain robust security controls across infrastructure layers
Requirements:
• Extensive Linux systems administration skills
• Proven experience building and commissioning hardware
• Direct data center experience, including racking and stacking
• Willingness to travel to Quebec as needed
• Strong networking and storage systems knowledge
