This position is designed for an experienced lawyer with a JD or LL.B. and 4-7 years of practice. As part of Medavie’s Legal Services team, you will support strategic initiatives, focus on commercial agreements, and partner with business leaders to foster compliance and governance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft and manage commercial contracts with clients and vendors
• Provide legal advice on privacy and compliance matters
• Partner with stakeholders on strategic initiatives
• Oversee real estate transactions and leasing issues
• Track legal and regulatory developments for compliance
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B. required
• Standing member of a recognized Law Society in Canada
• 4-7 years of in-house legal experience preferred
• Skilled in drafting and negotiating complex contracts
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
