Our cozy and comfortable home encompasses five resident home areas (one secure) and has four wonderful courtyards with plenty of outdoor spaces to roam about.The OpportunityReporting the Manager, Environmental Services, this job performs minor general repairs and ensures the safety of residents and staff by checking, testing and reporting on conditions of a variety of equipment found within the facility in accordance with the standards established through the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care (MOHLTC) and the policies and procedures of the home.What you will doPerform preventative maintenance and repairs as required, including plumbing, minor electrical, drywall repair and painting.Maintain the mechanical room, maintenance shop, and other maintenance areas in a clean, organized & safe manner.Monitor and perform routine maintenance and minor repairs of the building heating, ventilations and air conditioning systems.Monitor and maintain building security systems,
