YOUR ROLE AS A DESIGN TECHNICIAN: Reporting to the Director, Engineering and Technical Services, the Design Technician is an integral member of the engineering team and contributes to the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions aimed at improving manufacturing equipment, processes, and facilities.

They actively participate in concept development, design reviews, and project deployment, from ideation through implementation.

Working closely with engineers and other departments, they serve as a technical resource for design, drafting, 3D modeling, tooling development, and the optimization of manufacturing solutions.

Conducting hands-on field surveys to evaluate operational requirements and validate existing conditions.





Developing and optimizing tooling and fixtures while incorporating manufacturability, safety, and maintenance principles.

Maintaining up-to-date technical documentation, 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).

Supporting equipment fabrication, installation, startup, and validation activities on the shop floor.
