We are looking for an accomplished CFO to lead the financial strategy and oversight of our organization in Cambridge, Ontario.
This executive role will guide financial reporting, forecasting, and operational analysis while strengthening the finance function to support sustainable growth.
The successful candidate will provide solid leadership to the finance team and serve as a trusted partner to business leaders across the company.
Responsibilities: Lead the organizations overall financial direction, ensuring strong governance, accurate reporting, and sound decision-making across the business.
Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, shareholder updates, tax filings, and reports required by regulatory bodies.
Manage core finance operations, including accounting, costing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and consolidated reporting for multiple locations.
Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, and communicate financial results to internal leadership and the parent organization.
Guide cash flow planning,
treasury activities, credit oversight, and financial risk management to protect the companys financial position.
Build and maintain effective internal controls, financial policies, and administrative procedures that support compliance and operational discipline.
Deliver meaningful performance analysis on revenue, margins, expenses, and profitability by comparing results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
Partner with department leaders to develop budgets, business plans, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and organizational alignment.
Mentor and develop the finance team, fostering an engaged culture focused on timely processing, high-quality analysis, and dependable business support.
Represent the company in financial matters with lenders, insurers, external accountants, and government agencies as needed.
