Project Estimator Location: Edmonton, AB Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: C$60.00 C$110.00 / Hour (CAD) Job Summary The Transmission Project Management (TPM) Integrative Planning and Analysis team requires engagement with multiple stakeholders and contractors in order to construct new or replace existing transmission infrastructure.

The Project Team requires an individual with the expertise to establish reliable relationships between EDTI and service proponents, through vetted and audited contracts.

The AESO has determined system reinforcements are needed in the Edmonton Planning Region to reliably serve load and mitigate constraints through various transmission projects analytics.

This role supports the Transmission Program Management team in planning and executing multiple high voltage transmission projects.

The Data Analyst is accountable for coordinating the delivery of assigned projects and supporting a team of Project Managers in the delivery of all aspects of a project from inception through to close out, including cost and schedule monitoring, scheduling crews, contract management, HSE reporting, quality management, coordinating regulatory deliverables, and records management.

Upon commencement of their duties, the Data Analyst will adhere to deadlines provided by the Manager, Transmission Program Management Integrated Planning & Analytics Manager.

This role reports to the Manager, Integrated Planning & Analytics and the Manager,



Transmission Programs to support the transmission team in executing multiple high voltage transmission projects.

Key Responsibilities Maintain the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of asset-related data across enterprise systems by entering, updating, validating, and reconciling records; monitoring data quality; and resolving discrepancies in collaboration with field, engineering, and operational teams.

Support data governance practices by documenting business rules, workflows, and data quality procedures; maintaining reference libraries.

Define, monitor, and track data quality KPIs; and prepare validated data outputs for audits, reporting, or regulatory needs.

Improve and sustain data collection and maintenance processes through workflow optimization and automation where feasible.

Provide user guidance, training materials, and coaching to improve data practices.

Support downstream reporting and analytics by ensuring underlying data structures are fit-for-purpose.

Education Requirements Bachelor''s degree in engineering, data analytics, computer science, mathematics, or IT; or a relevant technical certificate or diploma.

Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly desirable.





The following training certifications are mandatory to be completed within one month of Contract execution (all from the Alberta Construction Standards Association; equivalent 3rd-party courses or internally delivered training will also be considered): - Construction Safety Training System - Electrical Safety Training System - Contractor Management - Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Worker Education - Hazard Management The following training certifications, or equivalents, are not mandatory but are highly desirable: - Alberta Occupational Health & Safety Legislation Awareness - Ground Disturbance 201 - Leadership for Safety Excellence Required Experience 4 years of project management experience, preferably in a construction workplace.

Experience with utility construction in energized substations and knowledgeable in the hazards and appropriate safe work practices.

Thorough understanding and experience of foundation Project Management processes and procedures aligned with the Project Management Body of Knowledge.

Nice-to-Have Experience Canadian Electric Utilities experience (e.g., EPCOR, ATCO, Alta

Link, BC Hydro, Sask

Power, Manitoba Hydro, Hydro One).
