Chief Operating Officer / Major Domo A Rare Institution-Building Prospect A long-established and financially stable family business is seeking an exceptionally experienced executive to work closely with its CEO on two closely connected mandates: * Establish and operate a new venture capital business. * Build the foundations of a Family Office that will initially straddle and support the venture capital operation, while serving as the seed of a broader shared Family Office.

This is not a conventional COO position.

It is an opportunity to help design, build and operate enduring institutions from the ground upcombining the discipline of an experienced operating executive with the judgment, discretion and broad stewardship traditionally associated with a major domo.





The ideal candidate will bring more than 20 years of senior operational experience within both medium-sized and large organizations.

They will have moved beyond narrow functional specialization and developed the breadth of judgment required to bring structure to ambiguity, translate long-term vision into practical operations, and act as a deeply trusted partner to the CEO.
