We are seeking an experienced Senior Mainframe Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise-scale mainframe applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS, and related mainframe technologies, with a proven ability to support critical business systems, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver high-quality software solutions.

In this role, you will:

- Design, develop, and implement mainframe applications and system enhancements.
- Develop and maintain programs using COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, and VSAM.
- Work with XML, SAS applications, and TIBCO integrations to support enterprise data processing needs.
- Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and system integration activities.
- Support production systems by troubleshooting issues and resolving defects promptly.

What you need to have to be considered

- Strong experience with COBOL, CICS, JCL, and DB2 development.
- Hands-on expertise in IMS DB/DC, VSAM, TSO, and Host/Mainframe environments.
- Experience designing and developing complex mainframe applications.
- Proficiency working with XML and enterprise data integration solutions.
- Knowledge of SAS and SAS-based applications within a mainframe ecosystem.
- Experience with Mainframe Automation Testing tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with TIBCO integration technologies and middleware platforms.

Total compensation

The base salary for this position ranges between CAD 71100– CAD per year.
