Advantages * direct visibility with executive leadership and a clear path toward broader finance management * play a key role in building and refining financial systems and controls rather than just maintaining existing processes * fully remote prospect * competive base and bonus structure Responsibilities * partner with operations and project leadership to analyze budget vs actuals, monitor committed costs, track margin variances and improve forecast accuracy * oversee complete project accounting from initial job setup, cost-code assignment, and progress billing to holdbacks/retainage, WIP analysis, and final closeout * manage vendors/subcontractor AP, including line item validation, PO matching, coding, and payment scheduling to optimize working capital * prepare period end journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statements, and executive management packages * develop custom dashboards and KPI''s while strengthening internal controls, reporting workflows and ERP integration Qualifications * Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finace * CPA designation preferred (or active CPA candidate)
