and relationship‑building skills to support community‑wide engagement and qualitative data collection across 11 Greater Vancouver communities. This role supports environmental scans at both community and regional levels by engaging people with lived and living experience of homelessness and the homelessness services sector, including shelters, outreach programs, and drop‑in centres, to better understand barriers to access, service gaps and service delivery challenges.Our TeamJoin a team‑oriented, supportive project team committed to community‑driven and culturally grounded research. including meeting planning, participant support, and follow‑up on feedback and guidance.Coordinate early‑stage engagement logistics across multiple communities, including scheduling, outreach, participant communication, and consistent documentation processes.Begin engaging people with lived and living experience and service providers through focus groups, interviews, surveys, and consultations to document barriers to access and service gaps.Within six months, you willContinue leading engagement with service providers and PWLLE participants to capture service delivery challenges, system gaps, and coordination issues, and to ensure representation of under‑represented voices in the sector.Review and provide guidance on research tools, engagement approaches, and documentation to ensure they are culturally safe and trauma‑informed.Support review of emerging findings with PWLLE Leadership Council and GVSS Research Steering Committee to reduce risk of misinterpretation and improve data quality.Commitment to Equity, Diversity and InclusionHSABC is committed to achieving a diverse workforce through inclusive Human Resource practices in all aspects of employment including recruitment, hiring and promotions.
