Maintenance Manager - Comfort Suites, Medicine Hat, ABHotel Equities, a multi‑award‑winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkableMaintenance Managerfor the Comfort Suites in Medicine Hat, AB.About this positionAssists the Maintenance Manager in all day‑to‑day duties and responsibilities, supervising the implementation of all property and equipment preventive maintenance and repairs, monitoring life safety systems and utilities, and helping administer the department in compliance with corporate, franchise, and regulatory standards. Oversees day‑to‑day operations, recommends procedural changes, monitors and controls expenses, and provides warm, knowledgeable service to reassure guests.Supervise maintenance team members: interview, schedule, train, develop, coach, counsel, provide open communication, make recommendations for performance reviews, resolve problems, and recommend discipline as appropriate.Implement and schedule property and equipment preventive maintenance programs in compliance with corporate standards and local, state and national codes to ensure safety, convenience and guest satisfaction, and to protect assets.Prioritize service requests; schedule and monitor service to ensure customer satisfaction, safety and convenience.Test and examine life safety systems to ensure 100% operational status at all times.Monitor utility consumption to assess effectiveness of current systems.Review purchase requests and monitor expenses to meet or exceed budgeted goals.Assist administration by preparing and maintaining schedules, logs, records, and other documentation to ensure smooth operation and minimize liabilities.Qualifications and RequirementsHigh School diploma,
