Title of Position: Aviation Fueling Systems Repair Technician (NOC 72400)

Terms of Employment: Permanent full time position with a standard probationary period; work is performed primarily on-site at the Edmonton International Airport.
Wage: $37-$39/hour
Benefits Package (if applicable): Extended medical – 80-20, RRSP matching all after 3 months ( up to 1% gross pay)

Education: Other Trades Certificate or Diploma
Work Experience: 3 Years to Less Than 5 Years
Job Duties
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair aviation fuel dispensing and transfer systems, including pumps, meters, valves, hoses, and control components.
- Perform preventative maintenance and functional inspections to keep fueling equipment operating safely and reliably.
- Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and corrective action documentation accurately and on time.
- Calibrate, test, and verify system performance using approved tools, procedures, and specifications.
- Coordinate with operations staff, contractors,
and airport personnel to schedule and complete repair work with minimal disruption.
- Follow all site safety rules, aviation fuel handling procedures, and environmental protection requirements during maintenance activities.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and recommend repairs, parts replacement, or process improvements.
- Track parts usage and support ordering of consumables, replacement components, and maintenance supplies as needed.
- Other duties as required.
Job Requirements
- College diploma and 4 years of experience is required in the aviation industry.
- Experience in aviation mechanical repair, aviation maintenance, or related aviation service equipment is required.
- Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment schematics.
- Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills with pumps, motors, plumbing, or fluid-transfer systems.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to work site.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions, lift materials, and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and good communication skills.
