As a Recreation Aide, you will play a vital part in our community, helping to plan and monitor various programs for seniors. Your responsibilities will include setting up activity areas, assisting in resident transportation, and recording participation feedback. You’ll ensure that residents are engaged and supported, promoting social interaction during scheduled events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in developing and revising departmental procedures
• Set up activity areas and assist residents with transportation




• Monitor residents' interests and progress in activities
• Maintain accurate resident and program records
• Promote social interactions among residents during activities
Requirements:
• Experience working with seniors and understanding their motivations
• Familiarity with leisure principles and activities
• Proficiency in computer usage
• Valid driver’s license required
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records Checks
