Hour Consulting

Toronto

Hour Consulting Corporation, on behalf of our client | Toronto, ON (Hybrid, Liberty Village) | Full-time, permanent Quota-carrying enterprise sales role.

Base $145,000 to $169,000 plus bonus.

Are you a consultative seller who is happiest when you are opening doors, running the pursuit and closing the deal? Our client is a Canadian-owned, Toronto-based technology consulting firm and a Certified Great Place to Work.

They are hiring a Senior Sales Executive to grow their enterprise business across financial services, insurance, utilities and energy, and technology.

This is a sales seat first: you will originate opportunities, own the full sales cycle and carry the number, with their delivery leaders beside you from the first conversation through to signature and beyond.

If you have sold consulting or transformation programs at a large firm and want the same calibre of clients with a much shorter path from idea to decision, this is the role.

You will report directly to the CEO, sit with the leadership team, and carry a first-year new business target of $5 million.

Who You''ll Work With You will join a small senior group that includes the CEO, the Engineering Director and practice leads across cloud, data, custom engineering and applied AI.

The firm sells and delivers in pairs: you own the commercial relationship and the sales process, a solution lead owns the technical shape of the engagement, and the two of you stay in the account together after the deal closes.

There is no separate pre-sales queue to wait on and no hand-off once the paperwork is signed.

What You''ll Own Pipeline.

Originate net-new enterprise opportunities through your own network, targeted outreach, referrals, partner introductions and industry events.

This is a hunting role, not an inbound one.

The full sales cycle.

Qualify, run discovery, shape the solution with delivery, price it, negotiate the terms and close.

You are accountable for the result, not just the activity.

Executive relationships.

Build trusted relationships with CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Technology and the business owners who fund transformation work.

Account expansion.

Grow the accounts you land: follow-on phases, advisory retainers,

embedded teams and managed services.

Forecast discipline.

Keep the CRM current, forecast weekly, and be able to say what is closing this quarter, what is at risk and why.

Partner channel.

Work the firm''s Google Cloud and Microsoft partnerships to co-sell and to get in front of the right buyers.

Proposals that win.

Turn a client''s problem into a scoped, priced proposal with a clear business outcome, then present it to the people who sign.

Market voice.

Bring what clients are asking for back to the leadership team to sharpen the firm''s offerings and go-to-market.

What You''ll Bring A track record of selling technology consulting, professional services or transformation programs to enterprise buyers, typically eight or more years, with several of those closing deals in the Canadian market. A history of meeting or beating a multi-million dollar annual target selling services, not software licences or staff augmentation.

Real relationships in at least one of the target sectors in the Greater Toronto Area: banking and capital markets, insurance, utilities and energy, or technology. A consultative style.

You know how to run discovery, you are credible with technical leaders without pretending to be the engineer, and you can hold a room of executives.

Enough fluency in cloud modernization, data platforms, custom engineering and AI adoption to recognize an opportunity and frame it for a client.

Strong writing, pricing and negotiation skills.

You can build a proposal and defend the margin.

Comfort in a growing company.

You build your own territory plan, you do not wait for a sales operations team, and you like being close to the people who deliver the work.

Willingness to work hybrid from their Liberty Village office and to be on client sites across the GTA regularly.

What Sets You Apart Time at a consulting firm, whether Big Four, a global integrator or a boutique.

Existing co-sell relationships with Google Cloud or Microsoft account teams.

Experience selling into regulated industries and navigating procurement and vendor risk processes.

Experience selling both advisory work (assessments, roadmaps) and delivery work (implementations, managed services).

Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $145,000 to $169,000 CAD per year, depending on skills and experience.

Variable: a performance-based bonus or commission tied to your sales results, in addition to base.

Benefits: health, dental and vision coverage through Canada Life, 100% company-paid, extended to your spouse and dependent children; life and accidental death coverage; emergency travel insurance.

Growth: professional development support for courses and certifications, and direct access to the CEO and leadership team.

Where you''ll work: hybrid, with a home base at their office in Liberty Village, a short walk from Exhibition GO and the TTC.

About Our Client Our client is a technology transformation partner founded and headquartered in Toronto.

They work on a simple premise: transformation starts with people and is realized through technology.

They assess where a client is today, advise on where they should go, and then implement the work with their own teams, from cloud modernization and data engineering to custom development, applied AI and managed services.

The firm is a Certified Great Place to Work, a Google Cloud Partner and a Microsoft Solutions Partner.

Their clients include banks, insurers, utilities and technology companies that want a partner who stays through delivery, not a vendor who hands off after the roadmap.

The company name is shared with candidates during the first conversation with Hour Consulting.

Our client is an equal prospect employer.

Accommodations are available on request at every stage of the hiring process, through Hour Consulting or the employer, in accordance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
