The Job We are currently seeking a Rebar Fabrication Labourer to join a busy fabrication facility.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on position working primarily outdoors and in a shop environment.

The successful candidate will assist with cutting, bending, bundling, loading, and moving reinforcing steel used in construction projects.

Responsibilities As a Rebar Fabrication Labourer, you will assist with cutting, bending, bundling, loading, and moving reinforcing steel according to customer orders.

Responsibilities will include operating fabrication equipment such as shearing and bending machines, power saws, and automated cutting and bending equipment, as well as operating overhead cranes to move and position materials.

You will unload trailers, organize materials, assemble and load orders for shipment, assist with epoxy touch-ups, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.





You will also support other team members with various fabrication and material-handling tasks while following all workplace safety policies and procedures and remaining aware of your surroundings when working around heavy equipment and operating cranes.

Requirements The successful candidate must have previous experience operating overhead cranes and possess basic math skills with the ability to accurately calculate bar measurements. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

Previous experience in construction, fabrication, industrial, or general labour work is considered an asset.

Candidates must be comfortable performing physically demanding work, including lifting up to 5060 lbs, working outdoors in various weather conditions, and working around heavy equipment and operating cranes.

The ability to follow all safety policies and procedures is essential, and candidates must be willing to work overtime when required. A verified Criminal Background Check is also required.
