We are looking for a Property Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities for a real estate portfolio in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This role is well suited to someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a mix of transactional accounting and monthly reporting tasks.

The successful candidate will help maintain accurate financial records, contribute to timely close processes, and work closely with internal stakeholders to keep property finances running smoothly.

Responsibilities: Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for assigned properties, ensuring financial records are complete, current, and accurate.

Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank balances and key balance sheet accounts, to resolve discrepancies promptly.





Process vendor invoices and payments while maintaining accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.

Record tenant billings, receipts, and adjustments, and monitor accounts receivable to help maintain solid collection performance.

Assist with month-end close activities by posting journal entries, reviewing ledgers, and preparing supporting schedules.

Enter and maintain accounting data in Yardi Breeze and Microsoft Excel to support reporting accuracy and audit readiness.

Investigate variances and unusual transactions, following up with relevant parties to ensure issues are addressed in a timely manner.

Support reporting and accounting updates related to operational or system process changes when required.
