Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Operations Team Lead to support transportation operations across the Durham Region and GTA.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on operations professional with experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, dispatch, or team leadership.

In this role, you will oversee daily operations, support and coach drivers, coordinate schedules, ensure service continuity, and help drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.

Manage driver schedules, vacation coverage, and shift assignments.

Provide route coverage when required to maintain service continuity.

Monitor KPIs and report operational performance.

Team Leadership Lead, coach, and support drivers and operational staff.

Assist with onboarding, orientation, and employee training.

Support performance reviews and employee engagement initiatives.

Investigate and follow up on incidents and operational concerns.

Fleet & Compliance Coordinate with Maintenance, HR, and Health & Safety teams.

Ensure vehicle inspections, deficiency reporting, and corrective actions are completed.

Promote a strong culture of safety and regulatory compliance.





Support driver licensing and training programs.

Administration Review timesheets and support payroll administration.

Maintain accurate records, reports, and operational documentation.

Communicate effectively with internal departments and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills: Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet operations, or a similar environment.

Valid Ontario Class G Driver''s Licence with a clean driving record.

Ability to provide a transparent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.

Strong knowledge of Durham Region and surrounding areas.

Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power

Point).

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Post-secondary education or equivalent experience preferred.

Transportation or on-demand transit experience is considered a strong asset.
