This role reports directly to the CFO.**Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:*** Accounting, tax and external financial reporting:



+ Oversee the accounting operations to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with IFRS + Responsible for the annual statutory financial statements and external audit process, including presentation to Audit Committee + Responsible for monthly internal management pack provided to executive leadership & Board of Directors + Provide guidance on accounting matters including financial systems, record keeping, analysis, and reporting + Lead the balance sheet and cash flow budgeting and forecasting process + Ensure compliance with all tax authorities, either through direct management or use of tax specialist + Ensure effective controls over financial reporting are in place + Support the on-going advancement and monitoring of financial control systems designed to preserve company assets, minimize risk of loss, and ensure accurate financial reporting* Treasury + Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational activities and investments + Ensure appropriate cash management policies, practices and reporting to effectively manage cash on hand and satisfy company’s obligations + Maintain banking relationships and oversee
