You’ll contribute to a wide range of tasks including reception, document preparation, office administration, and partner support.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, excels at multitasking, and thrives in a collaborative workplace.Key ResponsibilitiesReceptionAnswer general inquiries in a professional and courteous mannerDirect calls and visitors to appropriate staff membersRespond to general information requests accurately and efficientlyGreet clients, suppliers, and visitors in a friendly, professional mannerOffice AdministrationPrepare reports, memos, documents,
and presentations using Microsoft OfficeSort, distribute, and send mail, faxes, and courier packagesManage general email and voicemail inboxes, forwarding items as neededOrder, receive, and maintain office supply inventoryMaintain electronic and paper filing systems according to proceduresUpdate internal databases and back up files regularlySupport the Administrative team with projects and special deliverables as required.Assisting internal staff at all levels with general queries.Coordinate catering, meetings, and equipment maintenanceEnsure kitchens are maintained, stocked and in good orderSupport seasonal tasks, including but not limited to T1, T2 and T3 Admin tax workWhat We’re Looking ForEducation & ExperienceHigh school diploma requiredPost‑secondary education in business, office administration, or computer applications is an asset2–3 years of experience in an administrative or office settingPrevious experience in a professional services firm is preferredSkills & AttributesStrong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Excellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlinesComfortable working independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem‑solvingWorking ConditionsFull‑time role (37.5 hours/week), Monday to FridayOccasional overtime may be required based on business needsWork is performed in an office environmentWhat Smythe OffersAt Smythe, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package that reflects our commitment to our team’s growth and success.
