Wage: $47.35 per hour as per Union Collective Agreement - Full time position
Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Province of Ontario
Job Description
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks, and move materials to work areas
- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps at construction sites
- Assist form carpenters and other tradespeople in construction activities
- Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and help in other activities
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
- Keep job sites clean and machines serviced
- Operate pneumatic hammers, vibrators and tampers as directed
- Perform other activities at construction sites as directed.
Job Requirements: Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience working in construction.
