As a Labourer at The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, your care and attention to detail will ensure that our guests have a memorable stay in the Canadian Rockies.What you will be doingConsistently offers skilled, engaging and friendly serviceFollow policies, procedures and service standardsProvide quality work in keeping with brand standards outlined by supervisorAble to drive standard operational vehicles such as pickup truck, garbage truck, forklift and skyreach liftAct as backup relief sanitation attendant responsible for completing all duties for the roleSafely operate tools such as hand tools, chainsaw, hoist, rigging material, log splitterSafely deploy and utilize ladders, and scaffolding equipmentMaintain the cleanliness of mechanical rooms, vaults and storage areasFollow all safety and sanitation policies including documentation as requiredAdhere to the hotel’s vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel vehiclesEmbrace the Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactionsOther duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious experience is an assetHigh school and/or technical school educationMust be in excellent physical conditionPrevious Laborer experience requiredAble to repair and replace brick pathwaysAbility to work safely and ensure co‑workers are working safely and adhering to the JPL safe work practices and confined space operationsMust be self‑motivated and able to work independentlyMechanically inclined and able to operate equipment an assetMechanical/Maintenance experience an assetMust possess a valid Alberta driver’s licenseVisa RequirementsMust be legally eligible to work in Canada.
