Your new role As an Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in developing accurate project estimates and proposals for a variety of electrical and power systems projects.
Working closely with customers, vendors, engineering teams, and project stakeholders, you will evaluate project requirements and developpetitive pricing solutions.
Key responsibilities include: Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to prepare accurate labour, material, and equipment estimates.
Develop detailed quotations and proposals based on customer requirements and project scope.
Source pricing from vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to supportpetitive and profitable bids.
Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to clarify project requirements and define scope.
Maintain estimating databases and proposal documentation while ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Provide technical support and coordination for smaller projects, assisting with issue resolution and project execution as required.
What you''ll need to succeed Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Design Technology, or a related discipline. 1-5 years of experience in electrical estimating, quotations, project coordination, or a related technical role.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Strong understanding of electrical systems,ponents, construction practices, and project delivery processes.
Excellentmunication and customer-facing skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
