Kelly Services is recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer in Brampton that is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join its Manufacturing Engineering team.

If you have strong traditional toolroom experience and enjoy a combination of toolmaking, troubleshooting, and manufacturing support, this could be an excellent fit.
**What You'll Be Doing**
Build, modify, repair, and maintain tooling and dies
Support manufacturing operations through tooling repairs and troubleshooting
Set up and operate manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, drill presses, and other toolroom equipment
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Machine precision components to required tolerances
Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble tooling
Measure and inspect machined parts using metric and imperial measuring instruments
Work closely with Engineering and Production teams to improve tooling performance and reliability
Continue developing technical skills, including exposure to CNC equipment and processes
This position is approximately:
**60% manufacturing support, troubleshooting, and repairs**
**40% toolmaking, fabrication, and modifications**
**What We're Looking For**
Minimum 5 years of Tool & Die, toolroom, or related machining experience
Strong traditional machining experience with manual equipment
Experience supporting manufacturing operations through tooling repair and troubleshooting
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong understanding of precision measurement and machining tolerances
Effective verbal and written English communication skills
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Willingness to learn and develop additional technical skills, including CNC machining
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A Tool & Die Maker licence is considered an asset but is not required.
**Schedule**
Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
40-hour work week
Minimal overtime
