Our client is seeking a Senior Data/BI Developer to join their team.

As a Senior Data/BI Developer, you will be part of the Data Solutions Department supporting cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate solid analytical skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Ottawa, Ontario - Canada {Fully Remote}
**What's the Job?**
Gather, validate, and translate business and technical requirements into functional and technical specifications.

Analyze source data and develop data models, mappings, business rules, and data structures.

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL and ETL processes to support data migration and archiving requirements.

Design, develop, and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and related reporting solutions.

Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data quality, governance, and reporting needs are met effectively.
**What's Needed?**
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Data Engineering, or related fields.

At least 5+ years of experience as a Senior Developer or similar role.

Proficiency in data analysis, data modeling, and integration of multiple data sources.

Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and ETL development for at least 2+ years.

Proven expertise in developing business intelligence reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI for 2+ years.
