The Community Services Department is seeking dedicated Arena Assistants for the 2026/2027 season. Assist with ice upkeep, snow clearing, and ensure clean facilities for our community.
Two positions are available for individuals ready to serve as Rink Rats. You'll drive ice maintenance initiatives, support cleanup efforts in the arena, and clear snow at outdoor rinks. The work schedule will vary depending on the facility's ice time, making it a versatile commitment for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid in the maintenance of ice surfaces
• Keep the arena organized and clean
• Manage snow clearing tasks at outdoor facilities
• Assist with additional duties assigned by Arena Attendants
• Work flexible hours to match ice scheduling needs
Requirements:
• No prior experience required; training provided
• Must be physically able to perform duties
• Availability for varying hours as needed
• Passion for helping in community recreation
• Willingness to commit through the season
