Be a guiding force for youth as a Full time Critical Mentor. This role blends relational care with mentorship, providing a chance to significantly influence young lives.
Candidates must have a degree or diploma in relevant fields such as Child and Youth Care and at least one year of experience in youth-focused roles. Your exceptional conflict management, critical thinking, and communication abilities will be instrumental in supporting youth as they face life’s challenges. Engage closely with diverse youth populations, developing their resilience and coping skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Mentor male youth aged 6–19 in life skills
• Assess and support individual youth needs
• Develop and implement engaging program plans
• Encourage self-regulation and conflict resolution
• Facilitate a variety of enriching activities
Requirements:
• Relevant educational qualifications required
• Minimum one year in youth care settings
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• CPR First Aid Intermediate Level C certification
• Compassionate and motivated towards youth development
