**Job Title: Assembler**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled assembler to join a custom manufacturer of industrial packaging.

This role involves assembling industrial-sized custom crates and smaller corrugated boxes.

You will work with custom drawings provided by the engineering team, utilizing 'saw cards' that list dimensions for assembly.

The position requires repetitive assembly of large crates, building components such as bases, lids, ends, and shelves with nail guns, and installing hinges with impact drivers and screws.
**Shift:**
Day Shift: 6:30AM-3:00PM
Afternoon Shift: 3:30PM-2:00AM
**Pay:**
Day Shift: $19.50/hour
Afternoon Shift: $20.25/hour
Bi Weekly attendance bonus of $50
**Responsibilities**
Assemble 10-foot long, 4-foot wide and deep crates for special projects.

Build components such as bases, lids, ends, and shelves using nail guns.

Install hinges with impact drivers and screws.

Assemble crate walls to completion.

Possibly rotate as a helper for cutting lumber to size using table saws.

Use tape measures accurately.

Ensure all assembly tasks are completed with precision and attention to detail.
**Essential Skills**
Experience with assembly, hand and power tools.

Woodworking skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Proficiency in using tape measures.

Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.

Basic shop drawing and blueprint reading.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience working with wood, including basic carpentry, construction, and crating.

Blueprint reading skills.

**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mississauga, ON.
**Pay and Advantages**
The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.25/hr.

including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
