Seaspan is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Analyst to support a short-term vulnerability remediation initiative.
This individual will work closely with infrastructure, networking, and business stakeholders to review identified vulnerabilities, validate remediation requirements, coordinate patching activities, obtain approvals, and drive issues through to resolution.
The workplace is primarily Azure-based, with some on-premises infrastructure.
The ideal candidate combines strong infrastructure administration experience with cybersecurity knowledge and understands how vulnerabilities, patches, and remediation efforts impact an organization's security posture.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Review and analyze infrastructure security vulnerabilities identified through security assessments and scanning tools
Validate remediation requirements and understand associated security risks
Coordinate vulnerability remediation activities across internal technical teams and stakeholders
Manage infrastructure patching efforts across Azure and on-premises environments
Obtain required approvals and schedule remediation activities with impacted users and teams
Track remediation efforts from identification through execution and closure
Support remediation of vulnerabilities impacting servers, endpoints, network devices, and other infrastructure assets
Maintain accurate documentation and status reporting on remediation progress
Help accelerate overall vulnerability management and patch compliance initiatives

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Administration, Infrastructure Security, or a related role
Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and remediation
Strong knowledge of infrastructure patching and change management processes
Experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, risk assessment, and remediation strategies
Experience coordinating with multiple technical teams and stakeholders
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7
Experience supporting enterprise networking equipment
Experience working in hybrid cloud and on-premises environments
Security certifications such as Security+, AZ-500, CISSP, or similar
