Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an experienced Project Manager for one of Canada's leading employee-owned commercial general contractors in their Special Projects Group located in Calgary, AB on site 5 days per week.

The Special Services Group focuses on renovations, tenant improvements, building additions, facility upgrades, modernization projects, and ongoing client service work within existing buildings.

We are seeking construction professionals who have built their careers within reputable General Contractor environments, have successfully managed renovation and improvement projects, and have demonstrated long-term career progression within a stable organization.

This individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects ranging from small service-related work to large-scale renovations and additions.

Responsibilities include preconstruction planning, design coordination, estimating, budgeting, procurement, contract administration, construction execution, financial management, and project closeout.

Successful candidates will have experience working directly with clients, consultants, and trade partners during both design and construction phases.

The ideal candidate will possess experience delivering projects under both Construction Management (CM) and Lump Sum / Stipulated Sum contract models and be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong client relationships and a high level of responsiveness.

Skills and Requirements
• 4+ years of experience working for a Commercial General Contractor
• Proven experience managing renovation, tenant improvement (TI), building addition, modernization, retrofit, or facility improvement projects
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction and design development through closeout
• Experience delivering projects under both:
○ Construction Management (CM) delivery models
○ Lump Sum / Stipulated Sum (CCDC 2) delivery models
• Solid understanding of estimating, budgeting, forecasting, procurement, contract administration, change orders, and financial reporting
• Experience identifying project risks and opportunities during both preconstruction and construction phases
• Valid driver's license and ability to split time between office and project sites • Experience within tenant improvements, healthcare renovations, educational facility upgrades, retail renovations, office fit-outs, recreation facilities, or building additions
• Experience working within occupied buildings where client operations must remain active during construction
• Experience developing long-term client relationships resulting in repeat renovation and service work
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects simultaneously
• Gold Seal, PMP, P.

Eng., CET, Construction Management, Engineering, or related education
• Experience preparing proposals, estimates, and client presentations
• Familiarity with Lean Construction, IPD, or collaborative project delivery approaches
